The very first Withington Book Festival will take place this October in South Manchester.

A series of events celebrating reading and the community

There’s lots on offer:

• A spoken word event will be held in Fuel, 448 Wilmslow Road, on Wednesday, October 2.
• A book quiz will be held in Cafe Blah, 418 Wilmslow Road on Thursday, October 3.
• A launch party with book-themed fun will be held on Friday, October 4.
• On October 5, 2024, running from 10am until 5pm there will be talks from authors, panel discussions and creative workshops. The events will be free for the public to attend.
