A brief introduction to the Rick Turner novels (penned as M.K. Murphy)
Dead Man Walking When DS Rick Turner’s girlfriend is snatched on day one of his first major trial, he’s given a stark choice – sabotage his own testimony or watch her die. Then his brother offers to help. But Sam is a wanted criminal who fled justice over a decade ago, and the last time they’d met, Rick had witnessed Sam coldly, deliberately, stab a defenceless man to death.
Blood Debt As gangs rampage unchecked across London, DS Rick Turner is shot when a vigilante crew blunder into a major police operation. Speculated on by conspiracy theorists, mistrusted by his bosses, and targeted by a deadly enemy out for revenge on Sam, Rick must decide where his true loyalties lie.

Rick’s brother Sam might be able to help, but he’s a fugitive from the law himself, on nobody’s side but his own.
