Manchester City of Literature is seeking an experienced freelance Creative Producer to work on the inaugural Festival of Libraries happening between 9th and 13th June this year. This five day event will be a celebration of the libraries of Greater Manchester and is supported with funding from Arts Council England.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and can work creatively, strategically and operationally. We want someone to bring the aims and ambitions of the Festival to life; someone with proven success in developing and managing a multi-venue cultural programme and good knowledge of the creative commissioning process. You will also need an eye for the detail: putting in place contracts, contingency plans, managing the Festival budget etc. The role will work across these areas:
