Participants compete in various humorous and creative book-related challenges, similar to the format of the TV show “Taskmaster.”

After the roaring success of Defeat the Librarian at The Portico Library, we are delighted to welcome its humorous and creative challenges to our very own Poetry Library. Similar to the format of the TV show “Taskmaster”, the aim is to have fun, encourage creativity, and delight our fearsome TaskMistress, Becky Swain. The TaskMistress will be aided in her quest for the best team by her Assistant, Esther Lisk-Carew.

Each team of will put forward participants to do live book related tasks, themed around Manchester Poetry Library’s collection.

Participants: Teams of 2-4 people. Please book as a pair or group of 4 if you want to team up together in advance, otherwise we will pair you up / put you in teams on the night.
