Chetham's Library
There is no place more closely associated with Friedrich Engels’ two decades in Manchester than Chetham’s Library. This is the story of Engels and Karl Marx and how their experiences in the city influenced their ideas and thus the creation of a world ideology. This tour, lead by Jonathon Schofield, will include fascinating, entertaining and important tales of the two Germans with special emphasis on their visits to Chetham’s Library.
FREE but ALL contributions go to Chetham’s Library.
