Manchester City of Literature
Writer Charlotte Wetton and creative technologist David McFarlane are creating an installation based at Manchester Central Library.
The piece will celebrate the role of libraries and librarians in supporting unique journeys of self-development. Using infra-red technology, the piece will blend newly-commissioned work with authors stocked at the brand new Manchester Poetry Library. As an interactive installation, every reader will change the work and see it in a fresh context.
A wonderful taster of the new library opening to the public for the first time in June!
