What goes meong – meong? A South Korean dog. In Iceland a dog goes voff-voff, while in Russia dogs say gav-gav. Let’s have some fun discovering and comparing animal sounds. You might be surprised to see how different they can be from one language to another.
Somali Advice Link ESOL learners, staff and volunteers will lead some help yourself language activities.
The Powerhouse Library will also be featuring dual language story sessions of the Eric Carle story The Very Hungry Caterpillar throughout February on Tuesdays at 11am. Library opening hours are 11am – 2pm & 3pm – 7pm
