Suitable for people from any background and level of writing experience. The in-person workshop will be delivered in English with Cantonese and Mandarin language support available.
Following the session, participants will be encouraged to join four free online sessions on Mondays, 30 May, 6, 13, 20 June that create safe spaces to write, share and reflect. Online sessions are free but advance registration is required.
Will Harris is a London-based writer. His debut poetry book RENDANG (Granta, UK; Wesleyan, US: 2020). It was a Poetry Book Society Choice and won the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. He co-edited the spring issue of The Poetry Review in 2020 with Mary Jean Chan. Will is the Writer in Residence for the 2022 Chinese Write Now Festival produced by China Exchange.
This workshop will take place in the Chief Librarian’s Office, on the third floor of Central Library.
