An evening of poetry at Corbieres In Manchester City Centre:

Rosie Roberts will be launching her chapbook Dialogues of A published by Death of workers whilst building skyscrapers publishing press. Rosie Roberts lives in Glasgow with her partner, toddler and mad dog Hamish, she works as an artist, writer, editor, tour guide, baker and nanny.
Her work is motivated by questioning: How can we build a collective consciousness of care via experimental work? What is the body-work of solidarity (socialism, abolition and intersectional feminism) and how can we document and share this effectively? What does it mean to fall … [in and out of] context? Exploring how narratives political, fictional, enviromental and personal affect and interact with an audience and build a collective motivation to listen, un/learn and act with each other.

Bonnie Hancell uses creative mediums as a coping strategy and form of therapy for ongoing battles with mental illness.
Her work focuses on queer counter cultures, Internet sub cultures, sickness, survival, cruising, kink and rediscovering ideas of the sacred or divine.
Her debut chapbook ‘in the stupid stupid present where I was living’ was released by Gong Farm earlier this year.

Sally Barrett has had three pamphlets published so far, two by the Red Ceilings Press (2018 and 2022), and one by Some Roast Poet (2021). She identifies as northern and enjoys her job, as well as writing poetry.

There will also be a book stall of poetry titles from a selection of small presses
