Book your open mic slot via mail@flapjackpress.co.uk from noon on Tuesday 7th March. N.B. Open mic slots are 3 minutes per performer. March’s special guest Sarah L. Dixon is based in a Huddersfield valley and tours as ‘The Quiet Compere’. Her inspiration comes from many places, including pubs and mosh-pits, and adventures with her twelve-year-old, Frank. Sarah’s debut pamphlet, ‘The Sky is Cracked’, was described as “exceptional” by Sabotage Reviews, whilst her work has recently been published in ‘The Rialto’, appeared on a beer-mat, and in the form of a post-mortem.
