SOPH GALUSTIAN Hello! I’m Soph Galustian (she/they) and I am a queer poet, actor, writer and comedian from Manchester. I have written and starred in my own short comedy for the BBC called Peck Ed’s, I am a series regular in Channel 4 comedy Everyone Else Burns and I also enjoy creating comedy sketches and spoken word pieces to share online. My debut book No Worries If Not is out on April 13th – it’s a funny (ish) story of growing up working class and queer. Two elements of myself that I am extremely proud of and that I love writing about 🙂
STEVE MINGLE Ever since he learnt to talk, Steve’s favourite pastime has been swearing at strangers and he’s been delighted to discover that if you do it from behind a microphone then some people will call it art. His proudest achievements include being awarded the title of Britain’s Wildest Actuary, becoming World Crab-Thrapping Champion, playing football at Wembley and being credited as Executive Producer of the Being Frank film. None of these feats are remotely as impressive as they might sound. He’s also a football book author, with six books already published and more on the way. Despite being renowned for his tolerance, compassion and understanding, Steve occasionally finds himself becoming mildly irritated at certain aspects of modern life and these form the basis of much of his poetry.
