Environment and Nature
Roundview
The RoundView shares the science-based root causes of all environmental problems and helps us ask questions about the likely impacts of our actions, and to think of creative solutions. The RoundView inspires hope and inspiration to work towards a sustainable future. All in a table-top game!
The Roundview games are visually appealing, fun and tactile. The game brings together striking pictures, poetry and word puzzles – and groups of any age can put the pictures together and then discuss the ideas revealed by the completed games.
“The positive view is why I’ve been so interested in The RoundView, because everything about sustainability is usually being told what we should stop doing, not what to do. As human beings we rile against that. This can be very powerful, especially as it says we can carry on living and enjoying ourselves but in a better and more clever way.” Participant in The RoundView training in Tesco Head Office
The games are free to play at all times the Library is open – no booking is required. In addition there will be someone on hand on selected days during the Festival of Libraries to share more information and answer your questions. Visit Urmston Library in May and June and play the The RoundView game.
