A mainly vegetarian afternoon tea will be served while Gill James talks about the fourth book in her Peace Child series. This is a (older end of ) YA book set in a far future, and the Peace Child comes from the concept of rival tribes in Papua New Guinea swapping ‘peace children’ to maintain future peace; Kaleem’s job is to create win/win/win situations. It may be the far future but many issues may seem familiar. There will be a short talk, readings from the book, and a Q and A. This is a free but ticketed event as spaces are limited.
