Commissioned by Manchester City of Literature to celebrate Corridor of Light, New Arrivals is a comic created by artists Sayra Begum (Nottingham), Ian Bobb (Manchester) and Francis Desharnais (Quebec City), each represent a UNESCO City of Literature. With a storyline written by Pete Kalu, New Arrivals captures the experiences of migrants in Manchester; from displacement to discovery to ultimately finding home in a new place.
