We will be celebrating International Mother Language Day at Forum Library, all ages will be able to enjoy an afternoon of workshops, crafts and performances.

Here’s a couple of highlights to get you excited:

• You will be able to make an African dancing belt with Afro-Tots
• Put your new dancing belt to use by joining in a traditional music and dance performance
• Enjoy our chatterbooks children’s parade of traditional costume and language!
• Be part of a creative lettering workshop with Caroline Coates
• Enjoy music from the ancient civilisations of the Americas with El Condor, be entertained by traditional instruments and costumes – it will be breath taking.
