The University of Bolton’s English and Creative Writing department are proud to again partner with Bolton Library and Museum Services for a new season of exciting live literature events this Spring 2023. All events are free, open to all, with no need to book, and take place at Bolton Central Museum Theatre (Le Mans Crescent, Bolton BL1 1SE), a short walk from Bolton train station/interchange.

On Tuesday 7th February, Pulitzer Prize-shortlisted U.S. poet A. E. Stallings will join us at Bolton Central Museum Theatre to read from her first U.K. publication, This Afterlife: Selected Poems (Carcanet). An unmissable event with a poet whom the New Yorker has described as one of “formal ingenuity, crafting clever yet profound meditations on love, motherhood, language and time”.
