This Festival of Libraries, why not learn a new creative skill or develop your practice by coming along to our special macrame workshop at Stretford Library!

Create a stylish macrame phone tether – the perfect accessory to keep tabs on your phone. By attaching it under your phone cover, you can fit it around your wrist, have it hanging out of your pocket and makes it super easy to find in your bag!

We’ll be using 100% recycled cotton in this workshop, where you’ll learn the 2 basic knots that go into making your very own sustainable macrame phone tether. Run by Parisa from PositiveVibes_Makes, this will be a fun creative session, lasting up to 1hour. It’s a great introduction into the world of macrame, with no experience necessary! The session is suitable for ages 11+. Tickets are £3.50 per person.
