Rochdale Borough Libraries
We have created a walking trail through Middleton, where you can find and compare today’s view with that captured in some of the photographs in our collection. During the festival, you can access the trail here.
You can go in your own time, at your own pace – it’s entirely self-guided. When you come to a marker on our map, tap the marker, and investigate the view of past Middleton!
Paper copies of the trail will also be available from Middleton Library, part of Rochdale Borough Libraries, during library opening hours.
Length of walk: 1.5h – 2h
The trail is wheelchair-friendly, please note that there is one fairly steep incline towards the end of the walk towards St Leonard’s Church.
