Calling Manchester poets! Want to feel the buzz of performing for a LIVE audience again? Up for pitting your wits (and your poems of course) against other poets to win a £50 cash prize, bragging rights and the opportunity to represent Manchester in Slam-O-Vision 2021?

Young Identity and Manchester City of Literature are looking for poets to compete in One Mic Stand at Central Library on Thursday 30th September 2021. If you have a strong affinity with Manchester and have at least 2 poems (no more than 3 minutes in length per poem) please email Reece.Williams[@]Manchester.gov.uk to register your interest by no later than Thursday 23rd September 2021. We’ll be drawing names out of a hat on Friday 24th September and will let you know if you have secured a place in the slam.
