Ilaria wants to belong, but where to find her gang? Her girly side feels at home with the Tits and Lips who grew into the Cocks and Curtains. But her arty side feels at home with the Poets, an altogether more serious bunch, prone to veganism, tattoos and naked yoga. Can she forge them into Ilaria’s gang? Or is she fated always to have one foot in Doc Martens and the other in patent leather? Add in a Father Christmas with dodgy bowels and a kidnapping Italian ice cream man with a restraining order, and you have a quirkily entertaining storytelling hour from a unique voice.
