Radna Fabias is an Antillean-Dutch poet, whose debut collection, Habitus, is newly translated into English by David Colmer. Fabias captures life on Curaçao in montage-like depictions, with the poet’s eye facing away from the self and stylistically echoing the mood of American Beat.
Joining her is Kim Moore, winner of the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, whose poems in her second collection, All The Men I Never Married, are searing, musical reckonings on men and the male dominated society we inhabit. They are poems which are both empathetic and revolutionary.
This event is part of New Dutch Writing, supported by the Dutch Foundation for Literature.
