Tell me a Story, coordinated by Magaly Flores, dedicates October to Frida y Zapata. Y la Flor de la Muerte (Frida & Zapata. And the Flower of Death) by Nadia Fink, Martín Azcurra and Pitu Saá.

The Storytelling series wants to encourage children’s interest and motivation in reading through stories, music and creative crafts in a way that allows their imaginations to soar and transports them to new worlds.

This is a Mexican legend, where death is part of life and the cycle of nature. Where our ancestors are celebrated with music, food, drink and dance, like a good fiesta. Between these two worlds, our characters walk, asking for land and work, painting the art of the broken body and creating a symbol that lasts beyond all worlds, beyond all times.
