Manchester Libraries and Flapjack Press
With special guest Kevin P. Gilday, an award-winning poet, writer and performer from Glasgow. Kevin is the founder of poetry performance collective The Scribbler’s Union and was co-founder of spoken word cabaret night Sonnet Youth. He is a National Theatre of Scotland Breakthrough Writer, a BBC Writersroom Scottish Voice and one of Scotland’s most celebrated contemporary poets. His latest poetry collection, Anxiety Music, was published by Verve Press in September 2022.
Book your open mic slot from noon on Tues 15th November via mail@flapjackpress.co.uk. NB Open mic slots are 3 minutes per performer.
Performance slots are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis from the stated booking day. If they are already filled you will be offered a space on the reserve list.
