Our special guest Clare Shaw is a tutor with the Poetry School, the Wordsworth Trust and the Arvon Foundation. She also works with the Royal Literary Fund and the Writing Project to support the development of writing skills in academic settings and workplaces, and is the co-director of the Kendal Poetry Festival. Her latest poetry collection is Towards a General Theory of Love (Bloodaxe, 2022).
Book your open mic slot from noon on Tues 14th November via mail@flapjackpress.co.uk. N.B. Open mic slots are 3 minutes per performer – it is essential that you adhere to this so that we do not overrun. Performance slots are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis from the stated booking time. If they are already filled you will be offered a place on the reserve list.
