NB Open mic slots are 3 minutes per performer Performance slots are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis from the stated booking day If they are already filled you will be offered a space on the reserve list
Our guest Gus Jonsson is a poet and writer who was brought up on the Isle of Wight. Now living in Littleborough, his two autobiographical volumes of poetry and prose, Vectis Voices and Vectis Days [Brandicat, 2020 & 2021], recall growing up on the island and explore family, friendships, loves found and lost, austerity, health, wellbeing and social acceptance within a small community in a post-war, working-class society.
