Could you represent Manchester at Slamovision 2024?

5 August 2024 - News

Slamovision is spoken word’s answer to Eurovision – a Global Poetry Slam between spoken word artists from UNESCO Cities of Literature.

It’s a very exciting year to represent Manchester at Slamovision as we battle to retain our crown from winning last year with Esther Koch’s poem ‘Taurean at the Nightclub’ and the Grand Final event will be held right here in Manchester.

Manchester UNESCO City of Literature is offering a prize of £250 to the poet who represents our city at Slamovision 2024. The selected poet will represent Manchester in person at a live event held at the Manchester Poetry Library on Thursday 12th December 2024.
