The Manchester Children’s Book Festival is a Laureate Education Project that aims to engage children with literature and the arts, and provide opportunities for creative expression.
The Festival is a collaboration of the city’s libraries, museums, galleries and theatres and other festivals presenting a series of events across the city, culminating in a FREE Family Fun Day at Manchester Metropolitan University.
The festival is organised and run by the Manchester Writing School in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Manchester Metropolitan University under the creative direction of Dame Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
